A space where local regulars and tourists naturally mingle. An izakaya in the heart of Miyako City's downtown.
From solo diners to banquets, we accommodate a wide range of occasions.
We have 3 raised tatami seating areas, each comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests.
The partition walls between seating areas can be removed, allowing us to adjust the layout to accommodate groups of 10 or more.
The tatami-floored space with warm wooden accents creates a nostalgic and relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoy Izakaya Sansui's unique cuisine and drinks to your heart's content in this traditional Japanese izakaya space.

Our 2nd floor tatami room accommodates up to 26 guests. We work with organizers to create "banquets that delight participants"!
Please share your budget and requests (shellfish in sashimi platter, more rice dishes and fried foods, children's menu, etc.).
To ensure all guests can comfortably enjoy their meal in our traditional Japanese tatami space on the 2nd floor, we provide zaisu (floor chairs with back support) in addition to regular cushions for those who find sitting on floor cushions challenging.
We have 3 zaisu chairs available, allowing elderly guests and those with back or leg concerns to dine with peace of mind.
Please feel free to ask our staff if you would like to use them.

Izakaya Sansui suffered significant damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011. However, with the support and encouragement of many people, we were able to reopen our restaurant quickly.
Because this place has overcome the tsunami, we want to convey the importance of disaster prevention through "food."
We hope that visitors from outside the prefecture and abroad can feel the journey of this city.
